Our client - a major oil and gas company working in exploration, development, production and supply - regularly faces the challenge of managing work on shutdowns, turnarounds and outages.
STO projects need consistent, regular data input. Accurate estimates during planning, - and daily actuals and forecasts during execution - are vital. Our client needed a software solution that would save time and deliver consistency. And any new system had to integrate seamlessly with the software suites already had in place.
A tall order
The demanding list of requirements included automation of tasks like work pack creation, easy on-site use via mobile devices, and integration with SAP and Primavera. The system would be used to control man hours and costs, managing works scope from planning through to completion. As a web-based package, it would have to generate and use consistent templates and norms to build estimates, and provide integrated reports and interactive dashboards for ease of management.
