Monitor Implement mpower Down Under

Transfield supply services to the Shell Clyde refinery on the outskirts of Sydney, NSW. Shell Clyde relies on the SAP ERP to meet the needs of the business. Transfield Services need to maintain work orders, estimates and enter timesheet hours into this SAP system and to accomplish this they rely heavily on excel spreadsheets to produce estimates for work orders.

The problem arose when Shell asked Transfield Services to produce the work order estimates using norms and implemented a kpi stating that the estimates be 30% norm based by the end of the year. Norms are not available in SAP.

Monitor implemented the mpower Engineering module to enable work orders to be tracked and maintained in a centralised system. Transfield Services are now able to report on the status of a work pack and see who is currently responsible for it.

Monitor helps businesses deliver their projects on time, on budget and to the highest quality by seamlessly linking project data to existing enterprise systems. Monitor’s flagship product, mpower, fulfils all project management software requirements, from budgeting and planning to time writing and billing. It is fully web enabled allowing you global access to your project cost data.
